About

We listen, act, and transform

I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with nearly a decade of experience providing outpatient psychiatric care. I began my career in a busy outpatient clinic, where I had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan and saw firsthand the difference compassionate, personalized care can make. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I take a biopsychosocial approach to treatment. This holistic framework allows me to provide evidence-based care that considers the whole person — mind, body, and environment — and ensures that treatment is collaborative, respectful, and individualized. In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as an Assistant Professor at UT Health San Antonio School of Nursing, where I teach and mentor graduate nursing students preparing to become future psychiatric nurse practitioners. This dual role in academia and clinical practice allows me to stay current with the latest research and best practices, while also sharing my experience with the next generation of providers. I specialize in outpatient psychiatric care, offering both medication management and supportive therapy. My goal is to help clients achieve stability, improve their quality of life, and feel empowered in their mental health journey.
